COMPOSITION
Each1 g contains the active ingredient:
amoxicillin trihydrate – 150.0 mg.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Amoxicillin belongs to the group of ß-lactam antibiotics. It blocks thesynthesis of cell walls of bacteria, inhibits the enzyme activity oftranspeptidase and carboxypeptidase, is a violation of osmotic balance, leadingto the death of microorganisms on stage of development.The preparation isactive against Gram-positive (Actynomyces spp., Bacillus antracis, Cloctridiumspp., Corynebacterium spp., Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Streptococcus spp.,Listeria monocytogenes) and Gram-negative (Actinobacillus spp., Bordetellabronchiseptica, Fusobacterium spp., Haemophilus spp., Moraxella spp.,Pasteurella spp., Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella spp.) microorganisms. Insensitiveto the drug are such microorganisms as: Pseodomonas aeruginosa, Serratia spp.,Indole-positive Proteus (except Proteus mirabilis), Enterobacter spp.,Citrobacter spp. and Acinetobacter spp.
INDICATIONS
Treatment of cattle, sheep,goats, pigs, dogs, cats and poultry (chicken-broilers, turkeys, ducks, geese)of diseases of the digestive tract, respiratory and urinary tract, skin andsoft tissue caused by microorganisms susceptible to amoxicillin.
DOSAGE
Orally with drinking water orfood once a day in a dose:
cattle – 1.0 g of the preparation per 10 kg of body weight;
sheep, goats – 1.0 g of the preparation per 10 kg of body weight;
pigs – 1.0 g of the preparation per 10 kg of body weight;
dogs, cats – 2.0 g of the preparation per 10 kg of body weight;
poultry (chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese) – 0.5-1 g of the preparation per 1liter of drinking water.
The course of treatment – 3 – 5 days.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity topenicillins or other β-lactam preparation groups.
Do not use in rabbits, guineapigs, hamsters or other small herbivores.
Do not use for animals with impaired renal function.
Do not use concurrently with antibiotics cephalosporins, tetracyclines,macrolides.
Do not use for laying hens, whose eggs are used in food to people.
PRECAUTIONS
Slaughtering of animals formeat and use of milk in food to people are permitted, respectively, after 14and 4 days after the last use of the preparation.
HOW SUPPLIED
Polyethylene film bags or other PE film 1, 10, 50, 100, 500 and 1 kg.
Polymeric containers 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg.
STORAGE
Dry, dark, inaccessible to children place at temperature from 10°C to 25°C.
Shelf life – 2 years.
